What the Hell is Going On?
BE THE BULL -or- RUN LIKE HELL
This is Lockhart's unique version of Pamplona, Spain’s famous “Running of the Bulls.” But runners in our event don't get gored by actual bulls!
- Be The Bull! - You can sign up to build a bull made of cardboard, paper mache, fabric, or any material. Or you can bring an inflatable bull or wear a bull costume. You are "the bull" and you'll "chase" runners around the square.
- Run Like Hell!! - Sign up to be a runner. Dress in all-white with a red kerchief or sash and run like hell!
The run route in Historic Downtown Lockhart is only about a mile. This truly is a FUN RUN! Click the register-now button for more details and enter your information to be a BULL or a RUNNER.

TAKE ME HOME: ADVOCATES FOR TRANSPORT
a 501(c)3 nonprofit whose mission is to eliminate euthanasia due to lack of space by raising funds to transport dogs from over-crowded shelters to no-kill shelters that have adoption wait lists.
It gives dogs a second chance at life and provides loving families with a wonderful companion. There are places in the United States that have a shortage of adoptable dogs so we are filling two needs by easing overcrowding in Southern shelters and furnishing great dogs to adoptive families across the country.
