3rd Annual Running of the Bulls

BE THE BULL -or- RUN LIKE HELL!

Lockhart's incredibly fun take on Pamplona, Spain's famous RUNNING OF THE BULLS! Our event includes bulls made of costumes, built with wood, papier mache' over wire, dressed up bicycles, etc. All types of creativity goes into this run! Then, the runners, wear all white with red sashes and are "politely" chased around the beautiful downtown square of Lockhart. We will have a DJ and  live music after the run, a mechanical bull to test your riding skills, margarita and bloody mary bar, lots of food, a "bull pen" (new this year) and a few other surprises! 

Sign up to be the BULL:  be creative! Wear a bull costume or build a bull and chase the runners!

Sign up to RUN LIKE HELL:  Wear all white with red sash and run!

FRIDAY - April 21st

6:00 - 8:00pm - Participant Packet Pick-Up in the Pocket Park behind the Culinary Room building on the corner of San Antonio & Main.

SATURDAY - April 22nd

9:00am - 10:00am - Packet Pick-up at the Registration Tent

10:00am - Music & Entertainment (DJ Island Time)

11:00am - Start Time for the Run! 

12:00 - 2:00 - Live Music:  CROY & THE BOYS

KIDS 12 AND UNDER RUN FREE!! ( t-Shirts purchased separately)

EARLY BIRD  (on or Before April 2nd):  $25 (includes t-shirt)

REGULAR REGISTRATION  (on or After April 3th):  $25 ( t-shirt not guaranteed)

T-Shirts Only (Not running!  Boo! ) :  $20 – Must register on or before April 2nd
